While understandable, this timing can sometimes lead to disappointment.

At Meet the Sea, we gently encourage families to schedule their Family Boat Trip in Ibiza earlier in their stay, not at the very end.

Our boat trips are not high-capacity excursions. We deliberately limit numbers onboard to preserve:

With more than 11,000 passengers welcomed since 2020, availability during peak weeks fills steadily.

When families wait until the final days of their holiday, two challenges may arise:

1.Limited Availability

During July and August, many departures reach capacity in advance.

Booking toward the end of your stay increases the risk that your preferred day is already fully booked.

We never increase numbers beyond our safe capacity. Quality always comes first.

2. Weather Contingency

The sea is a natural environment. While Ibiza enjoys excellent summer conditions, there are occasional days when wind or sea state require us to reschedule for safety reasons.

When families book early in their holiday, there is flexibility to move the trip to another day if needed.

When the trip is scheduled for the final day, this flexibility disappears.

Booking earlier in your stay protects your experience.

3. A Calm and Confident Start

Many families find that beginning their Ibiza holiday with the sea creates a meaningful foundation for the rest of their stay.

• For May, June, September and October travel: booking 2–4 weeks in advance is advisable.
• For July and August : earlier planning is strongly recommended.
• And dont forget to: schedule your trip in the first days of your stay whenever possible.
