Meet the Sea - Family Boat Trip

A family boat trip to remember
Meet the Sea - Family Boat Trip

Meet the Sea's family boat trip is great family excursion to the Nature Reserve of Conejera island. The boat trip is babies friendly and children focused and offers a wonderful balance between sea education and entertainment.

This family snorkelling activity is perfect for snorkelling beginners, where we see directly a lot of local species in a true wildlife spotting experience. Prams and strollers friendly, with large shaded areas, babies are welcome and free of charge.

You feel, according to our reviews, in an ocean classroom due to the wildlife snorkelling; in a cool beach club because of our live cooking, and in an unexpected paradise thanks to the Nature Reserve anchoring location.

Meet the Sea - Live presentation
Departures from Port of San Antonio and Port des Torrent

Our LIVE presentation: Marine life and strict safety measures

We depart from the harbour and head for the magical island and natural reserve of Sa Conillera. Along the way we see the beaches of Port d’es Torrent, Cala Bassa and Cala Comte.

Meet The Sea's team starts a fun and informative LIVE presentation of sea creatures we see underwater during our guided snorkelling tour! An incredibly valuable family sea education and children sea education that shapes our leading ibiza family trip.

We are not a glass bottom boat: We are a boat trip to see marine species directly. You are not spectators, you are actors in a true Ibiza snorkelling tour.

During our presentation, we cover our strict safety measures: life vests provided for everyone AND a life saver attached to our snorkelling guide for babies and children that participate in the tour. A double-aspect safety measure that makes everyone feel safe!

Meet the Sea - Guided snorkel tour, and paddle surfing
Our Guided snorkelling tour: Marine biologist designed and led by an expert

Guided snorkelling tour: What makes us different!

As we drop anchor at the heart of the Nature Reserve, we start your "fitting session": All of you, children and adults, are given mask, snorkel and life vest, if you need one. Our team members assist you personally, one by one.

In the meantime, not only are babies accepted, they enjoy specific baby content: settled in their prams or strollers, they enjoy our shaded area and can sleep, draw or enjoy our onboard aquarium.

And then… our group leader will take you on a fascinating snorkeling tour to see the underwater world: here is a list of Ibiza species that we see during our snorkelling tour.

What makes us different:

-Double safety during snorkelling: life vest and life saver attached to our guide. babies and children can hold on to the life saver even if they are wearing a life vest!

-Small group size: Our guided snorkelling tour is 12:1 ratio. No more than 12 people per guide and tour, we keep a close eye on you!

- Our crew are in the water with you: Not just watching you snorkel. We guide, lead and assist you!

Meet the Sea - Paella cooked onboard
Live cooking at sea

Paella cooked onboard by our chef: Live cooking

Our chef brings onboard fresh local produce from our Ibiza partners bought that morning: strictly local vegetables and ingredients for a delicious paella at sea that we begin to prepare right before your eyes.

The paella is baby friendly and children friendly: no fish or fishbones, just vegetables and small bits of chicken and pork. And a vegetarian option: we will cook a separate rice with veggies only!

Important: We only put in the rice what you see! Therefore, no worries about gluten allergies, lactose, nuts or shellfish.

Get the recipe and make a great rice at home!

Meet the Sea - Treasure hunt
Onboard activities for babies, children, and adults

Treasure hunt with Pirate and paddle surfing

After lunch, we organise a treasure hunt with a pirate onboard for the younger ones. A maze of clues and hidden objects onboard that they will have to unravel with the help of a pirate desperate to find her long lost treasure chest!

The treasure hunt is a hit amongst babies and children who follow the lead of our pirate. Entirely onboard our ship, time to be dry and enjoy our boat!

In the meantime, it is the time for adults to:

-Try a bit of paddle surfing

-Go for a relaxed swim or

-Enjoy a glass of wine at the bar.
