FEATURED EXPERIENCE #1
After five successful years with our family boat trip, we’ve made a few small changes to tailor the
experience to an exclusive environment for students.
We take students (and of course, teachers too) on a beautiful boat trip to the Conejera Island Nature
Reserve. Everything is provided on board: masks, snorkels, life jackets, and paddleboards.
Once anchored in the heart of the nature reserve, we organize small groups for a guided snorkeling
tour designed by our marine biologist. We’ll observe marine creatures native to the reserve: sea
cucumbers, sea urchins, Posidonia oceanica seagrass, wrasse, ornamental wrasse, sargos, salema
porgies, and many more.
A fantastic experience that helps us improve our confidence in open water while discovering the delicate
balance of the nature reserve and its inhabitants.
Goals
To better understand marine life and its habitats.
Learn about more than 10 species of marine plants and algae.
To foster a responsible and active commitment to the delicate environment of our oceans.
Strengthen confidence in the sea through open water swimming and snorkeling.
FEATURED EXPERIENCE #2
The unmanned underwater vehicle (ROV) is presented by our team leader shortly after boarding, to an audience eager to learn about and operate this remotely controlled vehicle. We have selected strategic locations along the Ibiza coastline, rich in marine life, to showcase the ROV’s applications and advantages.
An onboard screen displays the ROV’s underwater progress, while each student takes their turn at the remote control.
A fantastic boat experience combining cutting-edge technology, beautiful underwater scenery, and the opportunity for students to operate the ROV and create their own video.
Goals
Helping you understand the evolution of marine technology through a hands-on experience with our ROV.
Learn about the gradual evolution of ROVs over the last fifty years and their current applications (onboard presentation).
Most importantly: you’ll be able to operate the drone yourself and learn directly from our instructor while enjoying a spectacular environment.
FEATURED EXPERIENCE #12
Our hiking route takes us through the breathtaking landscapes of Ibiza’s coastal cliffs. We follow our team leader, a local hiking expert, on a journey of discovery to the island’s native flora. It’s an excellent opportunity to capture spectacular photos of the coastline as we make our way to our destination: a stunning natural pool where we’ll enjoy a well-deserved swim. We finish the excursion with a snorkeling session to admire the beauty of the Posidonia seagrass
meadows and their vital role in preserving biodiversity.
Goals
Discover the flora of Ibiza with a local expert. Take advantage of the opportunity to take unique photographs of nature, where the cliffs meet the sea.
Understanding the geography and geology of our coast and the impact of Posidonia oceanica
(Neptune’s grass).
Enjoy a snorkeling session in the surroundings of the selected natural pool.
FEATURED EXPERIENCE #13
In collaboration with the Es Nautic (Sant Antoni de Portmany) and Ibiza Yacht Club, we offer a practical introduction to the world of competitive sailing. We set sail from either Ibiza or San Antonio harbor aboard a cruising sailboat, guided by an experienced racing instructor. During our four hours at sea, we learn the fundamentals of navigation and racing strategies, iving each student the opportunity to take the helm.
Goals
Understanding the fundamentals of navigation: directions, parts and structure of the ship, knots, sail adjustment and “rules of the sea”.
Participate in a regatta to apply the competition strategies previously explained by our expert. Acquire a “sense of the sea”, interpreting wind and waves to feel more comfortable in any maritime situation.
Strengthening leadership skills, decision-making in adverse situations, and self-confidence at sea.
FEATURED EXPERIENCE #4
The beauty of Portinatx Bay is unparalleled and a must-see during your stay in Ibiza. We organize a private bus transfer from your hotel to Cala Xarraca beach. Our team leader teaches the basics of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) on the beach and prepares all participants for the
day’s activity.
During this four-hour adventure, we’ll admire the bay’s beauty, discover the biodiversity of its waters, and understand the impact of the sea on the lives of local residents over the years. Some of the places we’ll visit include S’Illot des Renclí, Cala Xuclar, and Cala Xarraca. Spectacular!
Goals
Enjoy the exhilarating experience of paddle surfing.
Discover a sustainable and sea-friendly activity, guided both individually and in groups.
Learn about the fragile balance of biodiversity in the pristine and secluded bay of Portinatx.
Discover Ibiza’s past through its historical landmarks, such as pirate watchtowers, the
lighthouse, and fishermen’s huts.
FEATURED EXPERIENCE #6
Ibiza’s old town, known as Dalt Vila, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Our tour begins at the Portal de ses Taules, at the foot of the Renaissance walls, near the old fishing quarter of La Marina.
From there, we adapt the content to the students’ age, as the area offers a wide variety of museums, shops, workshops, and artistic activities.
Goals
Understanding the influences of the various Mediterranean cultures that inhabited Ibiza throughout the centuries.
Reflecting on the relevance of history in our current lives, awakening students’ interest in the past. To explore how architecture and lifestyle influence our perception without us being fully aware of it. Learn about historical figures who shaped the history of Dalt Vila, such as Blakstad, Hausmann,
Benjamin, Camus, De Hory and Broner.
