Scientific name: Tursiops truncatus

It is the most common in Ibiza of the more than 30 existing ones. They live in groups of up to 10-12 and use a sonar-like echolocation system to find their food. They cooperate with each other to catch fish and invertebrates they feed on.

Curiosities

It has a large brain in relation to the size of its body. They have been confirmed to be the second most intelligent animal on the planet after humans. We often spot them when they approach our boat.
